Our Experts Take the Stage: SmartRecruiters at AgileByExample 2025 in Warsaw

This October, three of our leaders — Michał Nowak, Mateusz Grabowski and Stanisław Matczak — will be sharing their expertise in Warsaw (Poland) at AgileByExample 2025.

As one of the largest and longest-running agile conferences in Central and Eastern Europe, AgileByExample is renowned for its focus on authentic, example-driven content. Our speakers are ready to contribute to this mission, offering unique insights on everything from dynamic reteaming to strategic leadership.

For over a decade, AgileByExample has been a key event for experienced agile practitioners and leaders seeking genuine, hands-on knowledge. Ewa Koprowska, Continuous Improvement Manager in SmartRecruiters and a member of the conference's Program Committee, explains her team's dedication to this cause.

“For over a decade, I've been deeply involved with the AgileByExample conference—first as a volunteer, then as a trainer and speaker, and now as a member of the Program Board. This long journey has given me a unique perspective on what makes a conference truly great: a lineup of speakers who deliver genuine experience and examples, not just popular theory,” says Ewa. “We’re on a mission to find professionals who can share authentic case studies about implementing agile in their organizations.”

Stanisław Matczak, Continuous Improvement Manager

Stanisław, an agile coach with over 20 years of experience, will be leading a workshop titled “Why Work Visualization Doesn't Work and How to Fix It.” In this interactive session, Stanisław will help attendees identify common problems with tools like Jira or Asana and collaboratively find practical solutions to transform frustration into effective work visualization.

Michał Nowak, SVP, Engineering

As an engineering leader with 20 years of experience, Michał is an expert in building adaptable, fast-iterating organizations. In his talk, “Be Water My Friend: Improving Adaptability through Dynamic Reteaming,” he will share the story of SmartRecruiters’ radical organizational transformation. Attendees will learn how his team moved from a traditional structure to a fluid setup with dynamic reteaming as a key principle, all to adapt to the fast-changing landscape of AI.

Mateusz Grabowski, VP, Internal Engineering

Mateusz, a strategic leader and "Swiss Army knife" of internal engineering, will be sharing his insights in his talk, “Charting the Strategic Waters: From Pancakes to Clear Paths.” Mateusz will draw on his own journey of navigating confusing "planning pancakes" to explain the principles of good strategy. He will share real-world experiences and lessons learned from transforming strategic processes at SmartRecruiters.
