Backend Web Developer (.NET) - 12 months contract

As a backend Web Developer at SmartAttrax your primary responsibility will be the ownership and delivery of our backend customer projects. This will include taking an active role in the entire software development life cycle, from design and planning through to implementation.

In this role you will be supporting the delivery of complex Career site projects using our best in class SaaS based platform. You will complete a range of tasks including building 3rd party integrations with ATS and HRIS systems, completing the set up of background services and jobs and support stakeholders by resolving UAT issues raised during the project delivery life cycle.

You will provide ongoing support to existing customers, trouble shooting live issues ensuring the smooth operation of our or largest enterprise customers.

You will have a chance to work alongside talented Engineers in a dynamic and cross functional development team, and will have a mandate to recommend improvements around our technical delivery processes or provide input to our product roadmap.

Accountabilities:

• To provide backend development support to our delivery and support team, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues on client site systems, and escalating issues appropriately where required
• To take technical ownership of new client website builds, from package creation and development through UAT rounds, managing data migrations, and executing go-lives.
• To manage and execute warranty tasks for live client projects
• To collaborate closely with the whole delivery team on multiple clients facing technical tasks, contributing to successful project outcomes
• To assist with a range of backend development projects

Essential

• .NET 9
• Entity Framework
• C# language and programming concepts
• SQL
• Proven record of writing clean maintainable code
• At least two years of commercial software experience is required

• Azure services (Serverless, Service Bus)
• Experience working with message queue systems and Event-Driven Architecture
• CI/CD pipelines and automation tasks

• Knowledge of automated test frameworks
