As a Web Designer at SmartAttrax, your role will be integral in creating compelling and functional digital interfaces, web elements, and improvements. Working closely with Managed Services Attrax consultants and front-end developers, you'll focus on crafting user-friendly designs while adhering to strong corporate brand guidelines.
You will work as part of a dynamic, engaged, and cross-functional Managed Services team, helping ensure we continue to deliver exceptional technical solutions and provide brilliant service for our customers.

Accountabilities:
- To work as part of our Managed Services team, supporting management of their career sites using our SaaS system, in line with the agreed specifications, designs, and deadlines
- To efficiently and with the highest quality, design websites, user interfaces, mock-ups, logos, graphics, and motion graphics within clients’ brand guidelines
- Able to take charge of the entire process of creating products and valuable experiences; from supporting pitch work, to understanding a creative brief, to delivering a design system and responsive design solutions
- Craft exceptional web interfaces tailored to provide seamless user experiences across various devices and platforms
- Expertly employ tools like Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite for web design creation and refinements
- Regularly update and refine web design templates, promoting efficient content production and deployment
- Engage with various teams to ensure design consistency with the overarching digital strategy

Qualifications
Essential:
- Minimum of 1 year of commercial experience in the area of Web Design
- Mastery in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and other leading web design tools
- Keen understanding of design principles, with a focus on layout, typography, and color harmony
- In-depth knowledge of modern web design practices and trends
- Solid understanding of UI and UX design principles, including usability, accessibility, and responsive design
- Expertise in creating polished, high-fidelity mockups that are ready for development
- Fluent communication in English
Desirable:
- Knowledge of current accessibility guidelines and frontend web performance
- Knowledge of browser-based troubleshooting and debugging practices and techniques
- Previous experience working in a self-organizing agile development team
- Experience with IDEs such as Visual Studio or Rider
SmartAttrax has a proven track record of providing the right candidates the opportunity to progress their careers, with many examples of employee progression throughout the business.
As a frontend developer, your primary responsibility will be the delivery of new client career site builds, there will however be opportunities to work alongside our senior frontend developer to enhance our existing feature set and to develop strategies to improve the front end of our product.
Progression would also mean opportunities to work on and take frontend ownership of our highest profile marquee client projects, being involved in the entire project life cycle, from wireframing and initial creative input through to the project build and delivery.
